Funding Opportunities

 .

I'm always being informed about funding opportunities and competitions available to constituents in Daventry. Often the opportunities are available to charities of all types, start-up businesses and local projects.

I've seen over the years the great work that can happen as a result of these grants. I would urge all constituents to continue to keep an eye on this page and, if applicable, take some time to throw their hat in the ring.

If you know of any funding opportunities or would like to advertise them on this page, please get in touch with my office at [email protected].

Please be aware that my office is not able to assist with the applications directly. This page is to highlight opportunities for constituents to be made aware of.

My letter from the National Lottery Community Fund:

"As you might know, The National Lottery Community Fund is the largest funder of community projects in the UK. We distribute money raised by The National Lottery to good causes which seek to improve lives and communities. This includes funding for local projects as well as long-term investments tackling big social issues.

Your own constituency has received over £800,000 over the last five years, awarded to 72 projects. This includes an award to Citizens Advice Daventry & District to provide benefits and debt advice and emotional wellbeing and support to people with mental health problems and disabilities.

Nine in ten of our grants are for under £10,000, going to grassroots groups and charities across the UK. People understand what’s needed in their communities better than anyone and we are always looking to fund new projects that bring people together and build strong relationships and allow communities to thrive.

In need of funding for a local community project? The @TNLComFund has year-round #NationalLottery awards for groups and organisations of all sizes. Find out more about their funding opportunities: https://www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk/funding

Kind Regards,

Matt"
