This letter details the restructuring of local authorities in Northamptonshire which will take place as a result of elections being suspended during the coronavirus crisis. From May 2020, and until members elected in the postponed elections (on 6th May 2021) can take office, two shadow authorities will be established in Northamptonshire. Following the postponed elections in May 2021, Northamptonshire council elections will be held in May 2025, and thereafter every four years. More details about this can be found in the PDF below.
