Last week, I visited Overstone for a hard hat tour of the superb new housing development, Overstone Gate.
Overstone Gate is home to a collection of three, four and five-bedroom houses, and whilst surrounded by the beautiful peaceful countryside, is just 15 minutes from Northampton, Kettering and Wellingborough! I was fascinated to learn about the archaeological findings at the development, and to see how the new homes site is investing in the local area, including a highway contribution worth over £7 million. It was wonderful to see a new bustling community develop, with a school, Aldi and other amenities to be built on the site in due course.
With demand for affordable housing at a high, housing developments like this are crucial, whilst giving people opportunity to get a foot on the property ladder. And what better location than in the heart of Northamptonshire?
